Installing
PhotoKit Plug-in Modules for Windows |
PhotoKit Plug-in Modules are easy to install Automate Plug-in additions to Adobe® Photoshop®. You must have the U.S. or International English version of Photoshop installed in order to automatically install a PhotoKit Plug-in Module. If you are running a non-English version, you will need to manually select the install location. If you downloaded the demo or purchased on-line, the file you received is a compressed file that will need decompression before running the installer.
After decompressing the .zip file, you will have a folder with the items shown below.
IMPORTANT: Before
you run the Installer, be sure you quit Photoshop. The plug-in should
not be installed in a running version of Photoshop. Launch the PhotoKit
Plug-in Module Installer. You will be asked about auto-searching.
If installing in an English version of Photoshop you can have the
Installer automatically search for the correct place to install the
PhotoKit Plug-in Module.
If you have more than one version of Photoshop installed, the Installer will find multiple Automate Folders. Please select the exact location where you want the PhotoKit Plug-in Module installed. Note: you may install your PhotoKit Plug-in Module in multiple versions of Photoshop on the same machine if you wish. You will need to register only once.
If you receive this error, the Installer was unable to locate an Automate folder. In this event, please be sure there is a properly installed version of Photoshop already installed. If installing in a non-English version pf Photoshop, you will need to manually navigate to the proper non-English translation of the 'Automate' Plug-in folder. |
