Exhibition Fiber Paper
Pixel Genius
has partnered with Epson America, Inc.
in the development of custom profiles
for Exhibition Fiber Paper for use
with Epson Stylus® Pro Printers that
use UltraChrome K3 Ink™ and UltraChrome
K3 Ink™ with Vivid Magenta. In addition
Pixel Genius has made available useful
color management information and instructions
on how to create the finest prints.

The profiles available above
are provided "As Is" with no warrantee nor direct
tech support from either Epson nor Pixel
Genius. The profiles have been created
and tested by members of Pixel Genius
and are being provided to the printing community for
free as a public service. Please note
that the profiles are individually compressed
for download as .zip files and must be
unzipped before installation and use.
You can download free utilities to unzip
these files from Stuffit for
Mac and Windows or WinZip for
Windows.
We highly suggest that you visit
the Epson
Professional Imaging web site
to make sure you've downloaded and installed
the most current printer driver and firmware
for your particular printers.
To use these profiles, you
should install them in the correct location
for your OS;
Mac OS X: /Library/ColorSync/Profiles (available for all
users)
Mac OS X: User/Library/ColorSync/Profiles
(available for just this users)
Windows98: C:\Windows\System\Color
Windows XP: C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\Color
Windows 2000, XP: C:WinNT\ System32\Spool\Drivers\Color
Windows Vista: Right-click on the ICC
profile, and choose "Install Profile"
The Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper is intended to be used
with the "Photo Black" ink of the Epson UltraChrome
K3 Ink™ or UltraChrome
K3 Ink™ with Vivid Magenta ink sets. Under
the Media Type, you should choose "Premium
Luster Photo Paper" or "Premium
Luster Photo Paper (260)" depending on
your printer. For 3800/4800/4880 printers,
you can load paper in the top feed
(regular feed path) but with single sheets
only. Loading more than one sheet at
a time will result in mis-feeds. For Epson
Stylus®
Photo R2400 Printers you must
load single sheets of Exhibition Fiber
Paper through the rear Single Sheet Guide.

The Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper is a premium photographic
printing paper that requires some extra
care when handling. Do not drag corners
of the paper over underlying paper. Not
unlike traditional silver-gelatin papers
the surface can be scratched and
is prone to finger prints–the use of
cotton gloves or handling by the edges
only is suggested.
