PixelGenius Beta Windows 64-bit Installers for Use in the Windows Version of
Photoshop CS4-64 bit Retail Release

These installers contain both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the relative product and will install the 64-bit binaries in Photoshop CS4 when the OS is booted in a supported 64-bit Windows system. The installer will also install the 32-bit versions of the binaries when booted in a supported 32-bit Windows system. NOTE: These installers are Windows only and are not for the Macintosh version of Photoshop CS4.

Chose the product you wish to download and then follow the instructions below:

1.Click to download and then Unzip the file.

2. Run the installer. If you choose, you can let the installer automatically find the correct install location. Some non-English language versions of Photoshop may need to have the installer manually pointed to the correct "Automate" plug-in found in the following location:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS4 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\Automate

NOTE: You will need a valid PhotoKit serial number to use this version beyond the trial period.The download files are Zip files for Windows.

*NOTE: Photoshop CS4 as a 64-bit application is only officially supported running under Vista 64-bit SP1 & SP2 as well as Windows 7 64-bit. It may run under XP 64. See the official system requirements from Adobe. Pixel Genius is also only officially supporting our 64 bit versions under Vista 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.

  • Windows System Requirements:
    1.8GHz or faster processor
  • Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 (Service Pack 3 recommended) or Windows Vista® Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise with Service Pack 1 (certified for 32-bit Windows XP and 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Vista)
  • 512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
  • 1GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on flash-based storage devices)
  • 1,024x768 display (1,280x800 recommended) with 16-bit video card Some GPU-accelerated features require graphics support for Shader Model 3.0 and OpenGL 2.0
  • DVD-ROM drive
  • QuickTime 7.2 software required for multimedia features
  • Broadband Internet connection required for online services*

As these are only "beta" versions of the 64-bit installers, they are not yet "officially" supported. Please do not contact Tech Support for any issues related to their use. The beta versions of the products will pick up and use your current products' serial numbers if you have already installed and used them on the machine on which you are installing. However, if you are installing them for the first time, you will need to enter your original product serial numbers for the current versions when prompted.
